Marty,

In the Adult Industry, Wave is a partner as much as Visa/MC is for taking a percentage of the charge. What I was talking to the Spragues about was real aggressive because of the short term financial gains involved. In my scenario, Wave would have been an owner, not just a vendor. Therefore, a much bigger percentage of revenue would go to Wave. This will not take place now due to the IBM deal.

However, Wave will do business with the Adult market if that market shows an interest. One thing I know for a fact, the Adult Industry is very comfortable with their current marketing technique (subscription based memberships). A pay as you look/view concept is very radical for them and would be hard to negotiate without leverage(e.g. millions of wave meters already distributed). That is why the Spragues and I were talking about a joint venture. We were discussing the feasibility of building a "Beta" site to test the marketing angle of Wave's technology. In this case, we would have used their software based metering. If the test was successful, I would have opened the doors of negotiation with the entire adult industry to integrate "Wave Viewing" into their product mix.

Hope this answers your question.....John
