William is so highly leveraged to debt that if the pog doesn't somewhat recover, say to 320 or so at least, within the next 14 months or so wim will go broke, the assets will go to satisfy the debtholders, and the shareholders will get nothing. Why 14 months - because they have a hedging program that will carry them that far with ease. That same leverage works very positively on the upside - 375 gold means wim well above 1.00, imho.

That's the way I understand it, anyway. The South African golds are being ballyhooed by some as offering great leverage to the pog, but I believe wim has a major advantage in having mines in more stable countries. I also believe strongly that the pog will see 375 before Christmas, so am quite comfortable holding wim and other golds.

So you know that costarique¤os are called 'ticos' for their use of the dimunitives 'ito' and 'ita', eh ..... actually people all over Latinoam‚rica use them ..... cheers ..... marcos
