Wayne, Ray, Gabe, and other positive contributors to this thread...

I had a chat with Robert Yeomen this afternoon to hear for myself what Gabe reported recently WRT to a pending resource estimate for the Toodoggone. I can confirm Gabe's statement that a resource estimate relative to the BC property will in fact be submitted to Antares from Strathcona Minerals before month's end (or three weeks from the time Bob Yeomen spoke to Gabe). Antares will immediately make this information known in a press release.

Also with respect to the BC property, personnel will be on the property mid-May or thereabouts, and a hole will be collared in the Creek Zone June 2nd. Earliest assay results could be out by the 16th of June, two weeks following delivery of core to the lab.

Two drills are currently operating in the Ojolali, with about an additional 600 meters of work done, since the last resource estimate. Although I was cautioned by Mr. Yeomen not to draw the conclusion that one could linearly extrapolate an estimate in proportion to the additional drilling done, I will optimistically conclude that the total 14,500 meters drilled to date probably will push their resource estimate in Indonesia to over one million ounces of gold equivalent.

The JV with Erin Ventures has been called off due to the political instability manifest in that country. NOTE: Antares will NOT be linking up with Erin to mine borates. So, let's end the speculation on that aspect of their business operations.

In my brief conversation with Mr. Yeomen, I detected a bit of emphasis on the upcoming drilling program on the Creek zone. I FEEL the company is pinning hopes on some spectacular results coming from the initial drilling on this site this year. If they indeed find something akin to an Eskay Creek class ore body, those of us who remain long in the stock will have our patience rewarded. (And woe be unto those who are short Antares shares should this happen.)

Regards
Don
