Maxwell,,, I agree with what was said about AMDs's ability to provide significant speed improvements over the next few months. A missing ingredient that has to come about soon though is availability of motherboards that will run "reliably" at these speeds.

There are several board makers that are getting there but I'm not sure how fast. Most of the test I have seen above the 300 mhz level lately are still sort of sporadic (Completed POST only, failed on Winstone 9X, etc). I'm sure that most of the chipset and motherboard makers will support these higher frequency levels, and for AMD's sake, I hope it is very soon rather than later.

I am very confident that next week (the 15th), all of the major motherboard makers are going to announce that their Pentium II BX (high frequency) boards are already in the supply pipelines. We need this kind of support for the new K6 products.
