Actually you raise a very interesting point. Clearly, Dell can sustain a 50% growth rate and probably a much higher one indefinitely by virtue of its JIT manufacturing and BTO model. This is really unique because most companies require significant infusions of equity or debt in order finance rapid growth. But Dell's model is very efficient and the company can do this without recourse to secondary financing.

I realize that I've twisted your meaning when you said it can't sustain 50% growth, when what you really meant was that it wouldn't realize 50% growth indefinitely. Nevertheless, the point is that Dell's model gives a financial strength lacking in other companies.
