Bill, I have been called crazy enough times to be getting used ot it, so i will say again that I am still looking for about a 22-24 month bear market that ultimately touches 4,000 on the Dow. That's not out of line with what has happened several times in the last hundred years or so.

If that should happen I would be out of my bearish positions long since and probably suffering temporary losses by getting back into the market too soon.

I did enjoy Fleckenstein the last two days on CNBC late in the afternoon speaking with such bearish cheerfulness. He seems like a real direct and honest person. Admitted that today's decline meant nothing, really, and that he had been wrong for the last 3,000 Dow points up.
