As for the correlation of Pre-Holiday Seasonality affect, I checked
about a dozen tickers against last year's holidays, and found that
going long during the two preceding day period would have been
profitable both intraday and short to mid term (1-3 months) about
75% of the time. Stocks checked were across several sectors, and
had a more than normal volatility and market beta. Continually uptrending
stocks were ignored as one couldn't attribute a continued rise to that
affect. I also noticed that no stock was up for every pre-holiay period.

Thanks Tony - that was worth looking at.
