Grant, we need to bring up your environment and friends. It's everything against the Lord, and yet, at one time everyone in college would have been as Christian as you are. It is very, very sad to realize and see it before our eyes.
He is quite aware of all the problems everyone faces, and rather faced them Himself, didn't He.
So, not only that, but He also created humans to love fun and be fun, and all of the problems that come out of that.
All of these things are taken care of already.
He never said it would all be that easy. But since everyone and his brother has been doing it quite well, even extremely and wonderfully well for centuries, it can be done. And very, very happily.
It is just a matter of chosing whom you will follow and then letting the Lord work out the rest of the details, and don't worry if it doesn't look like you're getting exactly what you want in the bargain.
Some of the worst sorrow in my life came from getting exactly what I wanted. Remember that.
