Guys, Jersey Boy (I wonder if he is friends with the Cowboy) could still luck out. Better to wait and taunt him after it gets below the little ledge it found as it was sliding over the cliff (or is it just hanging on to a small shrub that does not have the root structure to keep it planted in the cliff face).

On a more serious note, anybody here still follow EGRP - that POP you heard last fall? They reported today. 15 cents, down from 16 cents last Q (before charges) and about the same as the Q before 15 cents. Revenues were up only 4.3% Q-to-Q after 5.5% last Q. The stock is at the top end of it's post collapse range, about $27, and still trades at 42 times '98 estimates and over five times annualized revenues.

The hypergrowth is long since over and if we bears are correct about the market outlook, the brokerage sector should be at its peak (helped out by takeover speculation). Most on the EGRP thread are excited about the report, hoping perhaps that it will soar again like the tech/internet stock they still think it to be.

Thoughts anyone?

Bob
