A new board of directors? You can bet your booties there will soon be a new board. The previous board has been removed of all power, not to mention those ill-begotten shares they granted themselves. Can you imagine a secretary owning 1 million shares? All these years and Captain Stubing still has no ownership in the Princess. Meanwhile, Gopher goes on to work in Washington for a few years and walks away with an enormous pension. Speaking of Gopher, he tells me of events brewing in the capital, not only on the legislative front, but also at the Defense Department. Gopher just wonders what all those SAIC engineers are doing at SEXI headquarters. Boys and girls, your burser tells me they are working under a deadline. Isaac is working on a deadline too, and if I don't get a pina colada in the next five minutes there will be hell to pay. One other thing that Gopher wonders about is why the SEC would want to shut down a company that might be so integrally involved with the government.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome special guest Tom Jones aboard the Princess. Tom has just spent the last week in Branson, Missouri, country music heaven. Tom has made much money during his lifetime, and currently is a large shareholder in Sprint Corp. Speaking of Sprint, Tom claims that they are currently working on project in Missouri that has to do with videoconferencing and a company that Sprint is a VAR for. This perplexes Captain Stubing because we all know that nothing has been publicly announced about a relationship with Sprint. Perplexing indeed. As Tom likes to sing, It's Not Unusual. Never unusual with this company.

Speaking of deadlines, Julie informs me that SEXI is presenting at a trade show on Dec. 11-13. Interestingly enough, Julie also tells me that this is one reason so much activity is currently taking place at the Virginia office, as new products are scheduled for release in early December. It's a timing thing she tells me.

Well, no sense speculating until this audit is completed. All shall work out fine I'm sure, and then we can focus on the real task at hand. Those choppy waters we're crossing near Cuba should give way to smooth sailing as we reach our next destination in Antigua. Upon arrival, Captain Stubing invites you to visit a local hotel and bar. Isaac informs me that it is under "new management", and that everybody on board might like to meet its new owner. There are restricted areas in the bar, but Captain Stubing is willing to bet that the owner will ease the restrictions, and is generally his custom. You know, at closer glance, the new owner looks a little like post-prison Michael Milken, although not nearly as good looking. But friendly. Just make sure you keep your eye on your wallet.
