Did you yank the modem out, do "add/remove" hardware, then put it back in and do add hardware again?

Win 95 seems to like to be returned to zero often!

I try to keep my registry cleaner by using regclean.exe from the microsoft site... any time I suspect some subtle crap is going on I just run it. (reg41.exe I think)
