EGRP..in line with expectations.. but the earnings play was IN ANTICIPATION of earnings and the fact that it made a good play twice in the past 10 days constitutes an "earnings play".. The fact that I chose to hold the April options was my choice but an earnings play by itself doesnt mean to hold through the earnings date. If you can scalp a point or more profit from 'positive anticipation' that is an earnings play. I chose to take profits in BGEN because of the market climate and because I had quite a bit of the stock. I also chose to buy calls in EGRP therefore the loss/gain whatever it may bring can't be more than the initial investment andI don't suppose the option will go to 0 anymore than I think it will double overnight.
