What is your problem? If you've got something to say, say it. Your insinuations are pretty off-putting to all that read this, while any actual content is rather lacking.
Mark's post was copied directly over from BW. I was going to do the same this a.m., but I had problems connecting to SI. Does that make me a conspirator, too? Get real.
You allude to some kind of financial games being played by KLOC, and these being somehow related to Lenore Nelson leaving. If you are aware of any such items, then post away. If you have any hard quotes from Ms. Nelson, then again post away. If, however, you don't have the b---s to lay it on the line for all to read, then do us all a favor and knock it off!!
Note that I am not either defending or promoting KLOC here, but in my mind, they're innocent of any of your insinuations until proven guilty. Or is that not how you play the game? If you have specific charges or concerns to air, then, by all means, do so.
As to your other post, re: officer compensation. What's your point? A lot of business owners whose businesses don't do as well as the KLOC has done over the last few quarters draw much bigger salaries. Many publicly traded businesses that have NEVER shown a profit (e.g., biotech co.'s) pay their executives far much more than K&L receive. What you are completely missing is that the EPS are net of ALL expenses, including salaries. If Mssrs. K & L can continue on the path they've established over the last year, then we've got nothing to bitch about, do we?
As to the PR Mark posted, it's probably not as big a deal as some other announcements of late, but w/ any luck, this package of films will at least cover overhead costs (and, yes, OH would include the cost of the co-CEO's salaries).
If you really want to be constructive with your somewhat misguided energies, rally against the plan to issue more shares. Unless mgmt. can show that the add'l shares will not be dilutive (i.e., do indeed add net shareequity w/o causing a further drop in the share price), then we've got something to say to the co.
