urlman- i may be wrong about this but digital versatile disk may be the controversial new form backed by circuit city and a top beverly hills entertainment law firm where you buy the disc (cheap-like $5) and it works for 48 hours after which it won't work but you have the option of paying more at that point and then can use whenever. suppose to be test marketed later this spring in two cities. the catch is these discs only work on a proprietary system which will also play standard dvd but the standard dvd player won't be able to play that disc. bob
