This week I spoke with a high level research director for FOX's programming rating analysis and projections department. It is his job to "hype" any broadcast tool that will increase ratings.

I asked him point blank about Questec's SuperVision. He stated, "I don't have any specifics, but I am familiar with the technology you are inquiring about."

I said does that mean FOX will utilize it during the 1998 season. He said, "I can't comment on that."

I honestly don't know if he was implying anything positive or negative. He would not or could not go into it. This post doesn't really help, but I will keep trying to find a source that knows something.

Also, I have a friend who is the director of sales for an NBC O&O (Owned & Operated) affiliate. I will call him and see what he knows about Questec and post his response here.
