then your case is settled. the caveat in your case is enforcing your conclusion. If C++ and assembly were used to write an OS, there is no reason Java wouldn't work!!. Contrary, IMVHO, it is the best candidate to avoid the messiness in, say, doze95 and NT.

That's rather a defeatest approach. Why not?! Your statement will be correct only after sun fails is such effort. Hence there is no way to know UNTIL sun tries!!
