John: I like your imagination! Actually, it sounds like from the article that initial battery the GoBook will use, the one that mounts on the base, is a traditional Li technology. The Li-poly option they say will be available 3rd qtr for the GoBook will fit in one of its drive bays. If I get my imagination rev'ed up, its saying "If Micron is using one of the other makers that can put these things together by hand, why what for 3rd quarter to make the option available. The drive bay will have to work as is, and those makers can get Micron product NOW, if in limited quantities. Could this 3rd quarter timing be coincidence, or might it have something to do with the fact that Valance has publicly promised to be in mass production right around June?" Maybe it is time to get on the phone!?! Or maybe I'll wake up....and have another really good buying opportunity. Time will tell.
