I use a house in Long Island that I used to trade for; So I get a discount.

Another is a full-service place; but I only use them to park stock whose only purpose is to generate dividend income (All roughly 9% yields, on average)

Primarily for options I use Man, in Chicago....they also give me a discount.

and finally for futures I use another division of Man. High-priced but excellent fills.

The problem was with the house in Long Island (I know I said NYC, they used to have a branch there. I now have to call Long Island). I did another option trade with Man and had no problem.

I've never been comfortable with using net trading....it's just me, I'm more comfortable phoning the order to a trading desk. Except for the Full-Service firm, all my orders go straight to a desk and then (in Man's case) straight to the floor.
