Puddinhead, I don't mean to intrude and I have mentioned to Dwight that my knowledge of Nosty is practically "nil"
But when talking about the Antichrist, wouldn't he/she (because nothing would be surprising today)have to be a person of some note. A great charismatic figure, able to unite the many factions of world religions, under his own religious umbrella. Also, wouldn't he have to partner with someone of military might to keep the masses under control by force, at least in the beginning. I don't see all the religions of the world docily follow and accept his dogma without some coaxing.
I really don't see anyone in the world today, that would fit that description. But, maybe, as I speak the Antichrist is rising in the ranks of world domination somewhere. Because, usually these things happen without much fanfare, the masses don't notice until its much too late. And even it they did, it would do no good, for the power lies elsewhere...
Just some thoughts.
