Gee, down 16% in a heartbeat. Let me shed some light on Bozo the Cowpland which may explain why Corel is tanking now that a) there aren't any more news bulletins and b) Corel appears to have stopped buying its own shares for the time being.

1) They haven't demonstrated the ability to develop software of their own making in the last several years and that's especially true of object-oriented software (read: modern). They have a severely flawed development process and they don't have a core asset of reusable building blocks. That approach was evident in their childish attempt to build a Java-based office pack. That failed attempt also demonstrated their abject incompetence in terms of software analysis and design. How bad? Since they punted completely we'll never know.

2) They are unfocused insofar as they have NC software and hardware which isn't selling and won't, realtime business analysis software which isn't selling and won't, consumer software which is losing ground and will continue to lose ground.

3) They are financially irresponsible: amid massive losses they haven't made a peep about streamlining costs and they have all but eliminated staff reductions as an option.

Frisky, Bozo the Cowpland is responsible for this and needs to be taken by the ear and shown the door. He's an irresponsible buffoon with no business in business. He's a blamer who can't accept responsibility for his own actions. What you are, Frisky, is a butt-kissing Corel apologist and you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.
