BOD comic opera

Selected Quotes from Salt Lake Tribune:

Asked whether he was bothered by the directors'
absence, Noorda replied, ''No. I can do without them all
the time."

...shareholder Martin Glotzer repeatedly interrupted Executive Vice President David (almost sold all my stake) Bradford as he introduced matters to be voted on. Glotzer loudly requested a change in the agenda to allow shareholders to speak to each issue before a planned public comment period, and demanded to know why directors were absent.
''No wonder our shares are down with people like you
running the company,'' he barked...

Shareholder Ed Scherer also criticized Novell. ''What kind of song and dance are you giving us this year? Is it the waltz or the two step?'' he said. ''I'd like to get out of Novell, but I can't get rid of the stock because I'm in too deep.''

====================

Makes me look like a saint. Here's an answer for Mr. Scherer: Look at the old Novell corporate priority list and check out the position of providing shareholder value on the list.

Sorry I just couldn't resist.
