Solid: The name wasn't mentioned but I believe the exact quote was " when are the ignorant oafs on Wall Street going to realize that Intel is not trying to compete with Neomagic ". That said for a company that used the old 8088 chip design for all subsequent Pentiums, including the present P II'. Merely "stacking" them on top of each other. Do you really think they will come up with a revolutionary new design ? no way !! Just as National Semi. says they are going to incorporate about 10 chip designs on one single chip, no way; and even if they could it would take 5 years plus and even more than that for the laptop markets......gregor
