Eric:

you said: <Schmidt can not do it alone and at best with a solid BOD their turn around is a 50:50 proposal.>

I strongly disagree with your 50:50 odds, with a strong BOD (even if Schmidt just picks up one or two more BOD members from the industry) I believe the odds are better than 70:30 in NOVL's favor. Certainly Schmidt "can not do it alone", I agree there, but he will be filling in the COO position, and CFO positions over time. I expect the COO to be put in place within a month or two. So do you still own the NOVL shares? Just curious, as with your odds, I'm sure you can find more compelling buys in the market.

As to <Notice the 1/32 bid/ask spread. It look's as though the MM are trading the stock to generate net 1/32 gains again.>

Right, the stock is under 10 bucks, and I'm sure they want to keep liquidity moving on it for their gains, and share traders advantage. Makes good sence to me. Who said the MM were all just a bunch of greedy hogs <s>.
