LNET.
A director at Lodgenet, Larry Flinn, filed a Form 4 today with the SEC in which he disclosed that he bought another 40,000 shares of LNET at 10 3/4 and 10 7/8. These purchases came only a few days after he bought 60,000 shares at 10 7/8. Here's the breakdown:
3/04/98 60,000 shares @ 10 7/8 3/09/98 8,000 shares @ 10 7/8 3/10/98 30,000 shares @ 10 3/4 3/17/98 2,000 shares @ 10 3/4
I realize that there are no guarantees in the stock market, but it is very encouraging that Mr. Flinn bought 100,000 shares of LNET within only a matter of a few weeks. Mr. Flinn is not related to the CEO, Tim Flynn as I mistakingly posted a few weeks ago. According to what I read on Yahoo!, Director Larry Flinn is the largest shareholder of TCI and is a widely respected force within the industry. He has been a director of LNET for three years and these are his first purchases of LNET. Obviously he thinks the stock is undervalued or he wouldn't have plunked down over $1 million of his own money to buy the stock. These transactions were OPEN market, NOT OPTION related.
