No! Yitze is the beneficiary of the bet, and has to contact brad. If i win the free lunch bet with you, I will make the effort to call you, and meet you downtown. It would be rediculous to assume you are going to travel to arlingon to PAY ME.
The fact remains you had absolutely no right to confiscate brad's money. Do the right thing and return it to him. This is your responsibility as an escrow agent. This is all common sense, and should not have to be explained at length to you.
