Rainier, thread, this is a great forum. I share your philosophy that TA and FA should not be used to the mutual exclusion of the other.

I have a (I think) a Bullish breakout today on CRLBF
here's a reference to which I draw that conclusion.

scifi.co.uk

I bought some after it split. A solid company fundamentally
in a beaten up, now recovering oil service sector.
Even more remarkable, it's performance has gone unnoticed
on SI !

If the given pattern holds today it looks to go higher. Anyone out there have any experience with a pattern like this. I'm letting it ride (rational) but taking a profit creeps into my mind (emotional).

I'd also like to share two other patterns in the related oil/energy sectors:

UTI - recent gap up on good vol. after forming a base.
has drifted down on lower vol. Looks to be forming a cup with handle.

MDCO - A number of the MA's are converging with the shorter term ones crossing over the longer term. Take your pick as to which MA's you'd like to use they are all in a tight nexus currently.

I thank the thread in advance for any thoughtful comments.
I look forward to participating here in the future.

Best regards to all,

DKG
