I second your comments on Don's stats. For what it is worth I did a couple days worth of research on what is going on in Japan and have come up with the following: techstocks.com Other articles indicate money is flowing like a "tidal wave" from overseas into our markets: members.aol.com If Japan does not sink into a deflationary spiral the flow of money to our markets may be quite impressive. IMO this is a political problem - they have the resources to fix the problem just as we had the resources to fix the S&L problem a decade ago - and the political pressure is building on Japan's leaders both from within and from overseas.
