The latest should come as no surprise to anyone--the DNC is purposely releasing their latest contributor filing AFTER the election. You know, if the Dept of Justice/FBI went after the present administration with the same vigor as they did with Richard Jewell, maybe they'd find something, instead of ruining some poor guy's life. "Where is the outrage?" A Dept. of Justice, led by Clinton-appointee Janet Reno, lets their FBI just run roughshod through this poor guy's life, and yet the general public seems to be unconcerned, like "Aw heck, it can't happen to me..." So the proletariat will let Janet Reno and the new KGB-trained FBI have another four years of ruining peoples' lives--just like everything else in the Clinton administration, people are like, "Well, as long as it doesn't affect me personally. Whitewater...never been there, don't even know where it is; John Huang...uh some Asian guy, is Indonesia a country or a Canadian province? Again, it doesn't affect me personally; Gore raising money from Buddhist monks and drug smugglers...didn't affect me, and I dunno what a Buddist monk is; TravelGate...Well I didn't work there, so who cares if these guys got fired for the wrong reasons;" and now "Richard Jewell...well heck, he shoulda done the right thing an' just let the bomb explode undetected--who cares, I wasn't in Olympic Park that night."
This is one of those few cases where I am actually rooting for the plaintiff attorneys--I hope they get Jewell a couple of million in a settlement against the Feds and the press, and maybe hang a few criminal indictments (i.e. malicious prosecution) on the parties responsible for his nightmare. |
