David:

News is a relative thing. What may be big news for IBM may only be potential news for DCI. There are valid questions related to recent announcements that must be answered before we will know if DCI will reach the "promised land". Can DCI close deals with companies that will complement the overall objectives? Can they close these deals in a way that will not kill the balance between the number of shares, outstanding debt and revenues (in other words, without giving away the farm). I think they can, but there are many small, start up companies like DCI that never make it for those very reasons. As such, an announcement about a potential acquisition doesn't necessarily spark the same interests for us that it would for a well established company.

I like Joe's approach, and I believe that he has what it takes to make a small company work. He's decisive and extremely hard working. He's willing to make adjustments to get the job done. He understands the importance of teamwork and a chain of command. And he tends to make deals that are incentive based, which encourages new partners to be very aggressive in building up the business. But I think that this is going to take some time.

As usual, this is all just my opinion
