I agree with your statement that the PM and SLM products have not major contributors to revenue. What the PM and SLM products represented was a major market opportunity in the performance analysis software market. Analysts forecast the market potential for performance analysis software is $800 million by the year 2000. Again this supports my argument that Bill finally realized that the purchase of Network General for a Billion PLUS was a huge mistake and he will mortgage the future for short term EPS goals.

The interesting question is: Do you think NETA will continue to sell the products and if so, how will the Fortune 100 customer base react when they realized that the engineering teams that developed the products were fired and future enhancements are questionable?

Another question to be addressed the issue of supporting the existing customer base for the SLM and PM products. If the engineers are gone who will answer the customer when problems are reported?
