I was a little amazed that DCTC stock fell on buying pressure today.

So I decided to track down the transfer agent for DCTC which is Nevada Agency and trust.

In case you don't know what a transfer agent is or does. They basically are the unbiased bookkeepers for the stocks of which they are agents of.

They informed me that as of 04/02/98 the shares outstanding for DCTC were 14,233,762 shares.

Lower than what Yahoo states as DCTC's float.

This is a great sign.

For it means DCTC really has initiated their stock buyback and this buying pressure with no price gain is basically MarketMaker games and not due to the dilution of DCTC stock (which I had feared after 3 days of pretty good buying pressure)

In case you would also like to contact Nevada Agency & Trust to verify the outstanding shares:

Fax a request to Mark Miller at the Nevada Agency and Trust at 702-322-5623.

Request from him the outstanding shares, restricted shares, float (free trading) , and number of shareholders should you decide to go this route.

Ask him the figures as of today, as the figures I was given was as of April 2, 1998.

Good Trading!

PS. side notes: the person at the Nevada agency claimed that she didnt do any stock transfers today -however there is a 7 day gap in the data she gave me.
