THEY SAID: MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 8, 1998--NEC Computer Systems Division (NEC CSD) of Packard Bell NEC Inc. (PBNEC) today named Mr. Steve Lair to the position of senior vice president of sales, service and marketing, effective immediately. In his new position, Lair will be responsible for sales, and customer service and support for all multinational and domestic accounts. PARTY SAID: His affinity with ESVS and Zulu remains. He's just now got more work to do, but will make a lot more money for doing it. Isn't this the way it's supposed to work? DRIFTER SAYS: He will be at NEC 100% full time . That's a REAL POSITION described in the news release, not a McPressRelease . If he has remaining affinity fo Zulu, it's the airtight golden parachute that good people demand before boarding things that might not fly . Note that the bus wire release contained nothing of his ESVS/Zulu "affinity" . Perhaps it's just his little secret.
