Couldn't Agree More...
You're right... you don't give advice. And I don't either. This forum--this medium--allows for too much playing loose with truth... and is wide open to those who might try to manipulate others. I've seen this behavior in SI-ville and on Yahoo! I am, by nature, a pretty trusting person. But, not here in cyber-land, I'm afraid.
BTW, Ya-hoo! Interesting article I found the other night about the PR machine that is Ya-HOOOOO! Not one, but two PR agencies. And a full-time staff of, I believe, 4 in their PR department. Smart, smart, smart.
And, of course, how could I not agree with folks doing their own DD? DD means different things to different people. I think, sometime when we're very bored, we oughta post an a FAQ for novice and even experienced investors about things you might not ever do. Like some of what I saw in the Market yesterday. I'm not a real smart guy, but yesterday made me look brilliant... which is a real stretch and a real switch. (End of bragging segment.)
As for the 'Net in general and specifically e-commerce, what can I say? If it didn't exist, I'd probably still be slinging advertising slogans. Love it. Spend at least two hours every night...sign of no life... just reading articles about stuff that I know next to nothing about: XML, Virtual Private Networks, bill presentment, fibre-channel technologies, hell even biotechnologies.
And, I am thankful for threads like this... that keep a good tone... bring me new information... and don't get into contests of ego or pride. So, thanks, TLindt...
