Brazil markets closed Thursday, Friday for Easter

SAO PAULO, April 8 (Reuters) - Brazilian financial markets will close Thursday and Friday for the Easter holidays.

Local stock exchanges and financial markets will reopen Monday.

Brazil shrs end firm ahead of holiday, ignore Dow

SAO PAULO, April 8 (Reuters) - Brazilian shares closed higher Wednesday ahead of the Easter break, breaking stride with a falling Dow Jones Industrial index, brokers said.

Brazil's Central Bank lowers its reais mini-band

SAO PAULO, April 8 (Reuters) - Brazil's Central Bank lowered its mini-band on the real currency by buying dollars at 1.1390 and selling at 1.1440 reais per dollar in the commercial foreign exchange market, dealers said.
