Frank from yesterdays post there are so many ironic aspects of The act of 96 but something that has always caught my attention is not letting the rbocs either in the backbone ip business or the ld market.While something has to give here it would be a shame to think that the mabell split could be somewhat disadvantageous to att at this moment
since they do have the longlines and the rbocs certainly have the customer base.A real far fetched idea but one that thinks out fairly
easy is for more deregulation of the whole divesture and the act of 96.While this compromise would increase competition,we would only have 25 or so gaints instead of one.But thats too simple and too cheap a solution for the FCC to accomadate.
