thomas--

this is the problem with axes...they suck! niles doesnt want to be a the big dawg on CPQ, he wants to dominate the entire semi industry.

13-15 million chips per year? who the hell is he kidding? doesnt he ever tour the production facilities of the companies he tracks? does he not talk to the engineers? i am a lowly asset manager, and even i take the time to talk to them.

yeah, kumar the amazing wonder dork was the one with the IBMs gonna invest in AMD. i think piper and BA-RS may be in a fight for AMD banking business. with the losses they are going to need to raise some money, especially with new facilities needing equipment.

what was really funny was col. sanders coming out and saying, "we're back!!!". when ever jerry sanders starts getting excited, shareholders better be wary.

another little point is that kumar and our good friend mr. niles seem to have glossed over the competitive threat from INTC, which is going to put a lot of pressure on AMDs M-A-R-G-I-N-S. of course, margins are something they thing are only on letterhead. oh, but what am i saying. kumar doesnt even know that celeron exists.

wonder when they are going to put out their buy on NSM<G>?

good luck to all,
trey
