Irv, I'd like to see your data on DEC, HP, and IBM "making money" on Wintel machines. From what I understand, DEC is barely making anything on their Alpha/NT machines, but I have no numbers to back that statement. Can you show otherwise? I have no knowledge of HP (they are selling lots of machines, but at what margin?) and IBM is just starting the Wintel process. Wintel machines are a low margin business -- something which (I don't think) DEC, HP and IMB are "good" at. As always, opinions mine, not SGI's, etc. Keith
