A recent Brocade press release dated April 6th contained the following info: For more information about Brocade, check out the company's World Wide Web site at brocade.com, or contact Brenda Christensen, vice president, marketing at (408) 487-8123 or via e-mail at info@brocade.com. Well, I had some questions I was curious about, including when their IPO might be and who it would be with (since their business is obviously booming), so I called the number listed. It turns out according to the recording there that Brenda left the company on April 3rd. I was a little surprised her name would be mentioned in a press release issued after she left, but maybe the departure was rather sudden. Since her name has been mentioned here from time to time (often with a little envy for the way she was able to get so many mentions of Brocade in the press), I am also surprised no one here has mentioned it earlier, but maybe it is not that important.
