Janice and All, It is my pleasure to report that they must be using new and improved graphite for fingerprinting. After my stolen car was recovered, the fingerprint guys literally painted it inside and out with the charcoal grey stuff, but the car did clean up fairly easily with a high-pressure hose and soap at a self-service carwash. The interior was leather and Naugahyde and came clean (which is more than can be said for the thieves) and good as new with whatever interior cleaning solvent I was using then plus Leather Lotion. The events surrounding the car's theft and recovery is one for the books. Holly
