This is a stock I decided some time ago to hold for the long term. I bought in June of 96 - won't be long until it is 2 years ago. I have held steady since then.

It is awards that FSII receives, like today, that gives me some hope for the future. They didn't know it at the time, but when they added extensively to their facility base to enable a $600M company, the orders started drying up. The present load of carrying this excess capacity, along with their spending of approximately $40M for R&D each year (which they obviously must do to be competitive), has really kept their profits down. This is one company that needs to double in revenue (at least 1.5 times todays levels) to become really profitable. I think they can do it, but it probably won't be until 1999, or later.

If it goes below 10, I will probably buy some more.
