I'm currently 8 hours ahead of NY so the market opens at 1730. I wanted to encourage you, Steve and others to post pre-opening thoughts and picks here. I'm always looking for ideas and info between 0830 - 0930 NY time. I'll try to toss in my ideas, too. The "winpa" thread seems kinda dead. Maybe we could resurrect some action here. I'm usually around until 1030 NY time, off the air while I drive home and on again from 1100 - 1200. Then it's dinner and a break before I come back for the last hour of trading. Depending on annoying little events like evening diplomatic functions, I stick pretty much to that schedule. Looking more at YHOO, I may look at it as a short once it peaks. I'm really surprised they didn't announce a split. That would have guaranteed another 20 points. As it is, everyone is mumbling about sequential revenue growth dropping. Could be an excuse for a selloff once the initial rush is over.
