I don't know if it is a scam by a short seller. Trading volume is too low. It barely trades 10,000 shares a day, not much profit in that. I think this individual filled out the patent forms himself and did not go through a law firm specializing in commercial patents. Law firms do extensive research to make sure patents don't overlap. Law firms do not want to get sued by their clients for recommending a patent application when one already exists. This is the only explanation I can come up with. I think a legal opinion by IAS lawyers is due any day, lets wait and see.
