I think you are dreaming (137 price next June)!

INTC will be at 50 pretty soon the way it is going. If quarterly EPS goes down to $0.60 and stays there (I think this may be optimistic given AMD's upcoming 350 MHz K6-3D and the resulting price war), that is a yearly EPS of $2.40. With a rather generous PE of 20, the stock price would be only 48.

Why are most of the people here looking at Merced to bail out INTC. It might be great in 2000 or 2001, but until then, will Katmai and Willamette really be all that much greater than what AMD has to offer? In fact, will INTC be able to compete with the K7?

For INTC to go up past 100 again in the next year, they are going to need either AMD to go under or a killer app that requires 400+ MHz PIIs. I don't see either happening soon.

Just thought I would add my noise to the cacophony...
