Brian-- Good post-- one needs to keep a watch if you go back some weeks my opinion about this move was that it is similar in action from 770 to 990-- from 990 1130 it overshot to 1141 even can go higher but we need to have this famous 900 level the base of consolidation-- where is that level in this move up for me that level is 1030-

980 the previous high of 770-990 leg will now translate into that 850 which we saw 27th Oct 1997-- so some long puts for September 1000 or 990 can always double your money. This market is in solid upward trend and fundamentally nothing has changed but we need our hedging at a reasonable cost without giving up much of the potential of the move. That is a trade off one needs to make. Looking for opportunities in between moves. By the way David Plonk is a very good analyst and good poster I have enjoyed his good analysis.
