Harry - Re: "Thanx for your very cogent response"

You are very welcome.

So many analysts, journalists, and "Sandernistas" are predicting the collapse of Intel without considering how Intel is positioning itself for the current market conditions and yet laying the foundation for Extreme Computing (© PRE) in the upcoming decade.

AMD had one good idea - copy Intel - and they have flubbed it.

Cyrix copied Intel but added the MediaGX - very unique - but they managed to grasp failure from the jaws of victory.

It would seem that too many people have concluded that Intel became the largest semiconductor manufacturer in the world, and one of the world's most profitable companies, by accident.
