I feed no sense of false security when I recommend holding NETZ through present controversy. Concerning investing, my share of don't bet the farm, get only a modest holding-type remarks are noted throughout this thread.
The fact is that the four components--Echo/ZuluMedia/NB Digital/Laptop Solutions--have good people working together on good technology in a newly developing industry. Were Lair gone and completely out of the picture, I'd be a bit worried. He's not. Now he's on the board and there's improving organization below.
I'm not selling NETZ. If anything, I defend it against what I perceive as unfounded and sometimes inappropriate criticism. Sure theories abound, including my own. But rest assured I'm not a sudden let's say hallelujhah and praise the good Lord with NETZ-type either.
A review to my beginning will show--from my first comment onward--that I've been responsive in nature, except when posting reference data. Sure there've been some maybes or what-ifs or possibility-type remarks. But others on the other end of the spectrum do the same thing, do they not? Once or twice, I even admitted my remarks were cheerleading but this was noted at the end of such comments.
On balance, I'm outnumbered. Hence, when I respond it seems very defensive. To battle the NETZ haters is one thing. But responding to those who pose on the middle fence and who inherently lean their remarks to the negative side--logically for buy-back-in reasons--makes it difficult. Thus, you hear from me often and therefore I'm more open to criticism.
Fine, that's okay. I've usually got the time and I can take the heat. But make sure you're absolutely right on point. Because, if necessary, I won't hesitate to criticize back. And, yes, I've admitted I've been wrong. This too is evidenced on this thread.
No, I don't have Stock Detective or Wired in my corner, and some day they may regret what they printed, or the sources from which they got their info from. Lawsuits, if necessary, will be filed in a timely manner if those so-damaged decide to file them. I suspect, right now, the company has better things to do than to get bogged down with issues that they know longevity will cover.
But these facts remain. Online advertising will be big in the future. There will be several companies to capitalize in the industry. And it should be obvious that Zulu has done some good strategic positioning, has begun to sort its executive management and is now defining its board of directors (which Hayton isn't on, I might add--I guess the anti-Haytons have conveniently forgotten about that debate).
Plus it's also another fact that you, and others, are interested enough that you're reading this right now. Why VBH, a confessed lurker, just checked in a little while ago. His comment was noteworthy. As another good search for direction, what more can you tell us about Fisher? From your comments, we'd all like to know more about him.
In my opinion, ZuluMedia WILL BE a very competitive player in this industry. The so-called one bad man in the background theory doesn't alter my impression, nor should it affect a modest investor interested and looking for the good old ground floor. It doesn't mean this stock needs to go back into the basement before you begin inviting that type of investor to participate.
So let this penny roll on. NETZ has its merit in my book. Otherwise, I wouldn't have written so much. |
