Not to diminish the market potential in breast cancer imaging, but back pain certainly is more prevalent than breast cancer. The reason there is no "National Back Injury Month" has more to do with the lack of an organized lobbying group, as well as the realization that medicine does not currently offer a very effective diagnostic tool. If a technology could come along that could definitively diagnosis back pain, and that diagnosis led to effective therapy, the market potential would dwarf that of breast cancer screening.

However, because medicine can't offer much in the way of treatment right now, I do agree with your assessment.
