Jumper, I don't think you can characterize BEARX (which I've been
slowly accumulating more of) as a 150% leveraged short position
(although I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that.... presumably
something like putting up $100,000 worth of your own cash, then
shorting $150,000 worth of stock in your margin account). BEARX
has long positions as well as cash and shorts; I do not think it
goes up 1.5 times as fast as an index of the stocks it shorts
goes down. More like something close to, but less than, 1x such
an index, I'd guess. Tommaso on the Prudent Bear thread might be
able to be more precise.
