gregor, jane, kenneth, everybody - thank you so very much for your beautiful prayers. They have really touched our hearts. We DO believe that we will eventually be granted a family in some form or another. We have prayed hard and have FAITH! In fact, we are hoping for a little girl that we will name Faith. Your thoughts, kindness, and PRAYERS are very much appreciated. Praise God for such a warm and loving place here on SI.
Grant, I too was a "frat rat." I understand what you have dealt with. Jane is indeed right, though. I found believers in the most unlikely places once I identified myself as such. I too, however, was then caught up in additional studies followed by being "too busy" because of my various entrepreneurial pursuits. When I finally made more time for the Lord I met somebody at a singles function at, yes, church! She is now my loving wife. I pray that you will stay true to Our Lord and will find happiness with a companion that also puts God at the center of her life. It is very true that successful marriages are actually relationships with three people in them - God, Husband & Wife.
Also, remember that Jesus came to us sinners. Your role as a good man amongst sinners is exactly where God wants you. Be a good witness!
Thank You Jesus for this forum. We know that praise to You is detestable to satan and that he will therefore try to enter here. I pray that You give us the strength and words to ward off his advances.
