News Release: This property is surrounded by TVX and their is a mine just to the south. SOLIDOR RESOURCES INC (SLZ:vse) - News Release Oct 8 1996 Mr Wade Dawe, President, reports... Solidor, under new management, has just received a serious enquiry from a major mining company regarding its Squall Lake gold property, located 8 kilometers northwest of Snow Lake, Manitoba. The property is known to host widespread gold mineralization with at least nine gold occurrences (zones) over a 10 kilometer strike length. Total Drill-indicated and -inferred reserves in one zone are reported as 437,000 tonnes grading 5.4 g/T (.15 oz/ton). A 180 tonne bulk sample taken approximately 600 meters along strike to the west, returned an average grade of 8.91g/T (.26 oz/ton). A confirming 1 tonne bulk sample from the same area returned a grade of 14.47g/T (.42oz/ton). Thirteen samples of quartz veins returned grades from 1.78 g/T (.05 oz/ton) Au to 166.60 g/T (4.86 oz/ton) with an average grade of 52.94 g/T Au (1.54 oz/ton).
